Nicky is HOME!!! He came home on Friday and is very happy to be home. He will remain on intravenous antibiotics for 6 weeks. He will be receiving physical therapy as soon as he is a little stronger (maybe a week or so).  Everything is looking good!

Nicky is making progress everyday. He is still in the hospital but may possibly be released as soon as tomorrow. He is still weak  but as we all know, Nicky is a true fighter. He will remain on intravenous antibiotics for 6 weeks. Thank you for all  of your prayers and well wishes. Please keep them coming!

More good news! Nicky was moved out of the intensive care unit and is now on the regular pediatric floor. His breathing is still pretty labored, but they are weaning him off the oxygen. He will be on antibiotics for quite a while. With the help of a walker, Nicky went for a short walk in the hallway today! He also took a shower. Things are looking better everyday.
