My Story

Nicholas was diagnosed with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (AML) on 6/10/2005. After being in remission only eight months, he relapsed on 5/30/2006. He had a bone marrow transplant on 11/01/2006. On 2/08/2006 (Day +99), Nick relapsed yet again. After a very courageous fight, he passed away on 3/21/2007.

Happy 7th birthday, my sweet boy!!  I miss you every minute of every day.  Just when I get mad that Nick was taken from us, I remember him as the true miracle given to us from God.  We were truly blessed to be able to share his four short years with him.  I thank you all so much for the constant love and support.  We couldn't have gotten through this tough journey without that.  Just knowing that people truly care means the world when trying to get through a day.   Please pray for all of the tough kids fighting cancer, and for the families who have seen their children lose the battle against it.  They are all amazing!!
