hello to one and all -

hoping this is finding everyone doing well - we are good here - we were getting more snow this morning - i am ready for spring - hahah i guess i would have to move to get that right now -

nick did well at school yesterday - no tears!!! can you believe it? i could not. i think he actually enjoyed it too?! it was much more pleasant -

after i dropped him off i did drop off niblet - mikayla was quite sad to see her friend go, but i told her she could see him every day at school!!! yeah -

mikayla also lost a tooth last nite - her 5th - the tooth fairy did stop by our house last nite and left a little something under her pillow - she was pleased...

ive been hesitant to put this on here before, but nick seems to be getting some spacticity in his legs - we started riding that "ice cream truck" and it seems to have come. i am somewhat concerned about it though - as when he is laying on his stomach, his legs are constantly "bouncing" -i think it is okay for now, but if we get too much, that is when they start talking botox.this by no way means that nick is walking or bearing any weight on his legs, it is just something interesting that is happening - we of course are keeping a close eye on it along with his great therapist crystal to see what to do next - im sure this is so hard to understand (it is still hard for me to understand)...i think it is a good thing for now, but it could become too much - we will see...

i did hear nick cough a couple of times these past couple of days, so im hoping that it is nothing - but a cough - keep your toes crossed... ha

we do have some exciting things coming up that i will be happy to share with you soon-

we are looking forward to a wonderful 2009 and wish that for each and every one of you - we do realize however that 2009 will be a year of "1st's" for some without their loved ones by their sides - know that we keep you close to heart!

thanks so much for checking in and all the wonderful comments - we so appreciate them -

keep saving those pop top tabs for shriners !!! they are wonderful to us!

love

tanya
