Unexpected hospital visit

Thank you all for your prayers and thoughts. Bobby and I have been at the beach with the kids since yesterday so we could speak at a 5k on behalf of Camp Sunshine. Yesterday we all had a wonderful day at the beach and we had come back to our hotel when Nathan started complaining of dizziness. At first we thought it was just where we had been swimming and in the hot tub. Very quickly his symptoms progressed. He became very sleepy with his head hurting and his temperature went up to 103.7. By this time Matt and Tabitha were already asleep in the hotel. The Lord's provisions are so wonderful though and while we were here at the beach with a very sick little boy we found out that Bobby's brother and sister-in-law were down here at the other end of the beach. My sister-in-law, Larissa Norman, was such a Godsend and took me and Nathan to the hospital and stayed with us. Nathan was very sick when we first got there. They ran multiple tests and ran a bag of IV antibiotics. Back at the hotel, Bobby said Sarah cried herself to sleep. Once The Lord allowed the antibiotics in his system he perked right up. We were released from the hospital around 2 am and he is still sleeping. We are so thankful for everyone's prayers and love. It means so much. The Lord answers prayers!!!!

The Lord said, Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the Lord, for the Lord is about to pass by. Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake. After the earthquake came a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper. -1 Kings 19:11-12

Last night I feel like The Lord whispered for Nathan's fever to break and it did. We serve a mighty and awesome God!!!

Praising the Lord with you! So glad you had some family time at the beach -- and that it was topped off with another beautiful testimony of the Lord's faithfulness. Praying for His strength and joy to be yours always.
