Steve, Ashley Jack, Emily, It was so good to see you writting again Steve we have missed you,and the updates in your lives, I know it has been a long journey and continues to be so, I'm so proud of all of you for the A.R.T foundation for Natalie, she would be so happy, and I know with all your hard work you will benifit so many children's lives,  Keep up all the good work and treasure every memory of Natalie, as you said we are all connected to her in some way.  Keep up the journal we love to hear from you.    Sharon B @BankBV

I have saved the date (hope there's no ice storm) 😉.
I think parts of your journal entry should be printed and handed out at all mortuaries, grief counseling centers, churches etc. You describe grief so vividly and help the rest of us realize these feelings are just part of "the ride"
Thanks to you for continuing to share and allowing us to be part of a short life that made a big difference!
Prayers for peace and love as you continue your journey.
Much love

Stephen, yes you are a passionate, and gifted, writer who touches hearts as you share this journey.  Your words are a wonderful tribute to Natalie.  Writing of tributes, how does one donate to Natalie's A.R.T.  I found a Quest Credit Union in Topeka.  Is that what you were referring to in your post?

Steve, Ashley & family, Not a day goes by that I don't think of you and Natalie. I read the first paragraph of the journal entry, boy did you hit the nail on the head. It makes me feel better knowing it happens to others as well. Even being in the same boat as you all, I don't even know what to say other than, I pray for you and your family. Take care... Selina

Very well said Steve..........You and your family have been on my mind all of break and just been recalling this time last year for us at Heartland.  Natalie was a remarkable girl and her earthly presence is missed every day.  Her picture hangs above my desk and I feel blessed to have known and work with her and your family.  She also reminds me to be thankful for all my blessings and to not sweat the small and petty parts of life.  Congratulations on the ART foundation and I will definitely mark the date.  My thoughts and prayers will be with you these next days of Spring.  God bless you brave family.

I can't imagine how tough every day is for you, or where you've found the strength not only to carry on but to live. I can only summise that it comes from Natalie. Hope you find comfort in the wonderful memories you shared, in your two wee kiddos and in each other. Blessings to you for 2014.x

Steve and Ashley, there is not a day that goes by hardly that I don't think of precious Natalie.  I will forever be a supporter of St. Jude and all they do for the families and God's children who have to walk this path way too early in life.   I will be thinking of you guys and all the other families while participating in the Ft. Worth TX walk on November 23rd.  God Bless and Good Luck in all that you do and continue to do to bring awareness and hope and support to critical causes like thi.s

I love being able to read about how you all remember Natalie, the efforts you guys are making to make a change and how you honor her memory.  On our most recent visit to St. Jude Juan and I were remembering all our "St. Jude Family".  We talked about how Natalie was so shy whenever we were around, but she always had a smile on her face.  I would see her go into radiation with such a positive energy.   She is truly missed! You have an amazing stregnth that I admire!  She, Ashley and the rest of the Fleischaker's (Emily Jack and Steve) will always be in our thoughts and prayers, and will always be FAMILY to me ♥

Sending you all hugs all the way from Phoenix, AZ.
Take care!

Hello to all of you--it was so good to get this GREAT message that just reminds all of us that Natalie is still with us.  I think about you all often and keep thinking I will get on the phone.  We moved to Lakeview Retirement Community in Sept and it has been non-stop for us since August.  I will be so glad to be finally settled.  It was a hard decision and an even harder move but we are here and looking forward to opening the last box!
Thanks for all the info re Natalie that we can take advantage of.  I'll keep all of you in my thoughts.
