When I woke up this morning I thought about Natalie and her journey on Earth. I thought of the two of you and of Jack and Em and Meg. Of how you were willing to share the highs and lows of the past 19 months with all of us and let us be a part of your lives. That sharing is a gift to me and many others. A gift that has made a difference in many lives. When I see the kids at St Thomas who are Nat's age and I watch them running and playing I think of how brave she was and how little she complained when she could no longer do those things. I think about the funny things she would say, how excited she was to get Meg, how much she loved you all, her grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. I still laugh about her honesty (especially when she had to be on steroids) and the way she would just tell it the way she saw it :)

I think about her when I eat ice cream and when I see Perry, when I watch soccer games and see works of art. I smile about the Parish Hall being filled to the max with children celebrating her life and how hundreds and hundreds of people came to say goodbye. Natalie will live forever in the hearts of those of us who were touched by her smile and genuine kindness. AND, it won't end there because we will in turn treat others with more kindness....and her goodness will be passed on forever.

Thank you friends for sharing your child, her life and your lives with me.

Peace today and every day.
