LOTS OF NEW PICTURES ON PHOTOBUCKET!!!!

Good morning!

I have a few minutes here to finally get an update on the website.

Right now Natalie and I are in Sherwood visiting G&G Miller while Perry is on a golfing marathon with Grandpa Jim and his friends somewhere in Southwest North Dakota.

Natalie has been busy since I last updated! Physical therapy is going really well. She's starting to do some rolling now. We've been working on rolling for a long time, but now it seems like she's doing it with some purpose. We're starting to work with a stander, but she doesn't appreciate that very much. That weight-bearing through her hips is probably very uncomfortable. But we're working with it, and hopefully she'll learn the benefits of being upright by herself.

A couple of weeks ago, we traveled to Fargo to meet Natalie's newest cousin, Meredith. She's absolutely adorable...and Natalie thought her little squeaky cry was HILARIOUS! Meredith and her parents, Charlie & Carolyn will be moving back to Minot at the end of September, so we're anxious to get them back here! I have lots of pictures from Fargo, but not on this computer, so I'll upload them to Photobucket when we get back to Minot.

Natalie has made some new friends! A few weeks ago, Perry met a coach from a Fargo baseball team who has a son in a situation very similar to Natalie's. His name is Emmett. He requires constant care (like Natalie), and Emmett's dad suggested that we should get some respite care for Natalie. It helped them out a lot to reduce the stress. So we were introduced to a wonderful family in Minot (the Charleys), and they have been taking care of Natalie whenever we need to get things done around the house, or if Perry just needs a little break. Well, Natalie has really taken to the Charleys---a teenager named Megan in particular. They are best buds...and we're so happy Natalie is making new friends. She's starting to expand her circle of people who can take her...and that's wonderful for everyone involved. So we feel pretty blessed to have met the Charleys. They are wonderful people!

Next weekend is the big trip to Minneapolis for Natalie's eye appointment. We'll bring the computer along and post updates as often as possible!

Gotta go...time to get some food for Natalie...

Melissa
