Hello All,
THE TIME HAS FINALLY COME.........
This will be my last entry into Gibby's journal as I will never get over her or be completely healed, but I have to have some closure from this site. The site was a wonderful way to 'hang on' and to keep all of you wonderful people apprised of things and yet, it has become somewhat of a burden for me to carry on. I sincerely hope you can understand that the time has come for me (and maybe some of you) to move on with whatever life has in store for me now. It was a long and rewarding journey that we began in August 3, 1963 all the way to the end for her last December 15, 2007 and she was the highlight of my life.... It was a terrific trip and my heart will always treasure the memories. No one can ever replace my Gibby.
In retrospect, I probably moved out of my wonderful home in Allen much too quickly. I think the term would be trying to 'flee from the scene'. It is perhaps God's will (and a crummy real estate market) that I have not sold the home. So, for financial reasons, plus I am OK with being there again, I am going to move back into 1900 Marshall Drive Allen, TX 75013 next Tuesday 6-11-2008. It feels very comfortable and is certainly the best option for me at this time. For those of you that have had to buy new address books to keep up with the Pinnells over the years, I apologize and request you make yet one more entry for me. Also, as the dang phone companies will not let me keep the same home #, the new # will be: 469 675 3315 and my cell remains the same at 214 507 9996. I finally got smart and went to a more permanent email as I will have to change ISPs again also. The email will remain as: jpin44@gmail.com One final thank you from the bottom of my heart to all of you friends, family and maybe just interested bystanders for all of your love and support during this time. Obviously, I want to stay in touch with any of you who wish to and I welcome your calls, emails, visits at any time. Bucky and I are planning to take an extended motorhome trip this summer and I will monitor phone, and email messages on the road, so stay in touch and know that I love and appreciate all of you. God Bless our troops and all of you,
Jim & Bucky
