Hi Everyone, It's been a tough week. I was recently hospitalized for two days which ended up to be a blood clot in my abdomen. I'm ok now. I'm on blood thinners and I had to learn to give myself a daily shot which I'm still trying to get used to. I completed 6 months of chemo and it looks like the small amount of cancer I have did not go away. so it looks like it will be another six months of chemo. Luckily I've never had any nausea or vomiting so I have been able to tolerate it fairly well. However I have many of the other side effects. I'll be sending my records and cat-scan to my surgeon for his opinion also and we'll go on from there. Even though I've been through chemo I've still been able to do things that I enjoy like frisbee and flyball competitions with our dogs, going to concerts and participating and going to car shows so this has not stopped me from enjoying life.
