Morning there buddy! Today, after work, we are leaving for the mountains. The last time we went you were with us. Remember that 3 hours PLUS canoe trip in Boone? Mr. Frankie trolling in the canoe and the floating fish that was just sleeping - wink wink? How about the van ride up to the river to canoe? The fireworks at Tweeties? The hike to the water fall? I'm glad I have all those memories with you! Last week Mitchell ask me if the places that we are going to this year were places that we went with you? I told him YEP!!! He looks so much like you, well you if you had had brown hair.

As I sit outside in the mountain air, hiking to that water fall, fishing in the streams, watching the fireworks, etc. - I will think of you and all the happy memories we made there as a family.

PS - Matthew is driving now!!! Got his permit on his birthday, but I'm sure you already knew that cuz you left him a message under his chair at the DMV!!! :) AND thank you for all the messages you send us last weekend at Kings Dominion.
