This is what a nine year old looks like after a big birthday week! 
Ever since Mitchell got sick, coconut goes to him whenever he is sleeping and gets as close as she can.  No matter how many times I see her snuggling with him, I love to capture the moment.

Mitchell was thrilled that his MN Twins loving parents came through with his requested Derek Jeter jersey for his birthday.  Check out the photos.  I think I almost had him believing that it was against the law to ship one of those to MN!

Mitchell is feeling good and staying as busy as ever.  He just finished another weekend as the "all important bat boy" for Sam's baseball team.  He takes this job very seriously.  He doesn't miss a thing - he's always there in the huddle during a time out, shagging balls for the fielders, and helping the coach during batting practice. 

Whew - after chasing around baseball and soccer fields for the last four weekends we get to enjoy the 4th of July at home.  Mitchell is anxious to see if can get up on water skis again this summer.  Hopefully the weather will cooperate and he'll have a lot of chances.
