I am Melanie, Michael's wife, and have created this website for my incredible husband. I have called him Michael before I met him and have ever since. Many of you call him Mike Martin.
I will try to keep updated journal entries and ocassionally post photos in the photo gallery. PLEASE feel free at anytime to drop Michael or myself a line in the guest book

Wow – 2009 is here and two and half months into it!!!! Hope the New Year has brought each of you much joy and laughter.

Sorry it has been over two months since I have posted. Although in this case no news is good news. Michael has been feeling really well. The end of February Michael had his two month bloodwork done with excellent results. All his counts were normal or near normal. Tomorrow morning, Monday, Michael is going to have a PET Scan. This was a planned one – six months since his last chemo (August).

The preparation for the PET Scan is a bit difficult – 24 hours of no caffeine, no carbs, no sugar, no strenuous exercise and must stay warm. So, he has been struggling with a headache for the evening and we are praying he will sleep through the night (he dozed off about half hour ago).
