Michael finished his Junior year with a bang, coming down with influenza A after the last day of exams! He recovered quickly and is now starting his summer.

Mike started his job at the park this week and will be attending a pre-college program at Marist College for two weeks. We will bring him there next week, do you think mom can get a room in the dorm!?!

The spring was uneventful, just  "normal" stuff.  Michael went to his junior prom in May, got his driving license and is enjoying his new found freedom and good health. He has re-newed his interest in golf and enjoys doing so many things that were put on hold for the past three years(transplant, GVHD and the hip issue). We now  find him burning the candle at both ends. He has lots of time to make up for and it is so sweet to hear him say "I had fun" and "I had a good time".

He will be going to Sloan Kettering in Sept. for a routine  check up. Mike contiues to be re-vaccinated and goes to PT for his elbow.

Thanks for checking in on us and have a great summer!
