Exhailing....whew! And praising the Lord for His faithfulness.
Miata has been home for almost a WEEK!! What can I say - I am on top of the moon, LOL! Yes, the medication regiment is quite challenging with 20+ pills a day (and not all at the same time, Yup), in-clinic visits, dialysis 3X's a week, adjusting to life outside of the hospital, and getting stronger physically can be mind blowing, but she is such a trooper and God's grace is with her, Amen.
Everytime I look at Miata I am reminded of the scripture Jeremiah 29:11 which states "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. I am reasurred of God's promises and His faithfulness and the fact that He's got this! For this alone I praise Him.
Yesterday, we received some disappointing news from the renal doctors who are now thinking that her kidney failure may be permanent due to the increased creatine levels over this past week (they doubled from 5.2 to 10.2). They will continue to monitor her levels, however they are beginning the paperwork to have her listed for a kidney transplant. Yup :-) My first thought was "Here we go again Lord - Just trusting you".
God is so good, because I've already received word from family near and far that they were willing to be tested as possible matches to donate a kidney wow! The simple act of volunteering renders me speechless at their selfless actions. I am crying, laughing, and praising the Lord at the same time. He's got this and it is Good! Amen, Halleleujah!!
Miata and I were talking this morning and we both rejoiced that regardless which way this goes, it will be good because He (God) said so. Her biggest thing was that if we end going that route (kidney transplant) she is NOT looking forward to being back in the hospital!! LOL! Can you blame her? LOL!
We will be meeting with the care team (pulmonary and kidney) later this week to get more info, determine a plan, etc.
I rejoice and praise a living Savior who knows, cares, and is/has been faithful throughout this journey. He is Amazing!
More to come....
