Remission: April 13, 2009
Relapsed: December 27, 2010 (age 4)
BMT: April 18, 2011                               
Relapsed: July 21, 2011
Died: April 17, 2012 (age 5)

I never thought that one of my children would have cancer and I definitely never thought that after putting up a good fight the first time fighting cancer that she would have to do it again. Not now, not her.... She spent over half her life fighting!  

Mia peacefully passed away on April 17, 2012 at the age of 5.

Live, laugh, love

Each day we get up and our days go on!  We even do things that are fun - we live, laugh and love, but the ache of missing our baby is a lot.

I came across a video tonight of Mia, she was only 2 years old and  trying to whistle, the resolution was terrible, but the best part is hearing her laugh!  So thankful we have pictures and videos.
