I am so saddened that you are now gone Ellen.....oh but I remember you said when our loved ones leave us "they are not gone, they are still with us."  So with that, we know that you are still with us - your family, your intimate friends, and your kidney cancer community friends.  You will always be our cheerleader!  We will love and miss you always!

I remember when my son, Adam, was about 10 years old (he's 27 now)...after visiting with his friend Joey one day, he came through the back door with a bounce and announced, "Mom, you know what? I wish Mrs. Fuseler was MY mother." "Oh, really? Why is that?" "Because she is just so cool". That brings a smile to my face now...as it did then. She touched the lives of so many people and will never be forgotten. What a legacy....

To Henry and all of Ellen's Family & Friends:

Please know that you are all in my prayers.

While we are all sad about losing her from our everyday lives, I join you in celebrating her life and I am comforted that her pain and struggle is over.

Though I only met Ellen through FB and a mutual friend, in the last year or so, she was very special to me. We would chat via phone, now and then. We giggled and shared stories as if we had been friends our whole lives. Ellen had a cheerful spirit that sparkled and warmed the heart and made glad the soul!

I will miss her greatly and remember her with jooy and love, always.

God's Peace to you all.

Ellen,
I've been thinking of you and was praying that the quiet just means that you are busy having fun somewhere.....if not, please know that we miss your postings and think of you and pray daily that you are at peace with everything. God's love be with you and yours.

Dear Ellen, how wonderful to hear from you!  I have been meaning to get over to your FB page to see if there was anything new.  You do have a wonderful sister, and I'm sure she also feels that she has a wonderful sister too.

I'm sorry that you've been going through such a rough time.  I pray that something will happen soon for a breakthrough on the positive side.

You stay in my thoughts and prayers, and I will certainly keep Henry, Joey and Hank in them as well.

Stay positive!
Love,
Melanie

Ellen I am so proud of your courage in your battle with this Cancer. When you were talking about the wheel chair in Wal Mart it reminded me of my journey with my sister. She has been fighting lung canger for almost two years. She is (praise God) cancer free at this point. I am sure your sister understands how grateful you are and that you would do the same for her if the tables were turned. I pray for you daily and I know God in his wisdom is wonderful. Please let me know if I can do anything to help you out. I will drive you anywhere or cook what ever you need. God bless..

Ellen,
I was thinking of you yesterday and prayed that you would post something soon. My fear was that you couldn't so I was happy to read your latest. I hope that the "wheelchair" rides keep the wind in your face and hopes up for the future.
Thank God for family...and friends. I hope that our thoughts and prayers can bring you some consolation in these trying times. You certainly keep me optimistic....
Much love.

Ellen,

Family is truly a gift and they truly know us.   They can tell when we are happy, sad and when we hurt.   Your family truly loves you and is always there to help you during your treatments as well as during your everyday needs.

Your friends continue to provide you strength, encouragement and love.  They will lift you up in prayer requesting God to lessen your pain.

Your wonderful Husband, Henry is where you lay your head and rest your weary body.   His presence provides you strength to make each day.  He surrounds you with the reason to get up and face each new day with hope.

As you continue your treatments, we ask God to give you peace and freedom from pain.    We want him to give the doctors the knowledge they need to get rid of this cancer.

Your character and courage is remarkable to all of us.   Continue the fight because we love you.
