HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! I am praising the Lord for a new year! I hope all of you had a Merry Christmas as well! I know I did. I received a clearance from all my doctors on Christmas Eve! Wow, what a gift! I have finished all treatments and appointments. At this point I will have routine check-ups every six months. I have started my hormone therapy and all seems to being going well.

I look back over the past 9 months and think wow what a journey. While this was not a journey I really wanted to take, it was a time that I truly leaned on Jesus and His grace and mercy to get me through. I truly know my faith kept me strong, and I believe that Jesus was my Healer!

Marshall had a difficult time understanding why this happened. He restled with God at times as to why. Several weeks ago the Lord gave Marshall a scripture of confirmation. The verse is 1Peter 1:6-7 and it says, "In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that your faith-of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire-may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed." It is not about "why" to us anymore, but rather God using me and Marshall to be a witness of His power and may all praise be given to our Lord!

I pray God's blessings upon all of you this new year. Marshall and I (Katie Mac and Michael too) would love to be able to minister in areas that you may have a need too!
