Meranda hunnie you are the bravest girl I know! And at 21 years old I look up to you!! I honestly consider you one of my heros! You are extremely strong and brave. And do not EVER second guess your self! And if no one has the right to say anything about your decsion to quit softball! Pshhhh they dont know NOTHING about what it takes to be a fighter!!!!!!! You are in  no way shape or form a quitter! I know that within the next month you not only have good things coming up but also bad memories. Just try to look at in a different way, think of it as "I am still here! I am a fighter! And that your birth is something that EVERYONE should celebrate!" I love you Meranda and I always will! Just know that I am always here for you if you need anything! Love ALWAYS Cherisa and Ayden PS** Ayden loves his girly friend Meranda!!!! lol <3

    Miss Meranda,
As I told you last night, do not let anyone second guessing your decision about softball bother you.  You are not a quitter - look at the amazing brave battle you have fought and won in the past year. Keep your head held high, and enjoy the remainder of your junior year.  If and when you can physically return to sports, there will be many people cheering you on.  If you don't or can't return, the same people will be supporting you in whatever you do.  :)

    Take care,

Hey there everyone. I am so very sorry to hear of Meranda's decision. The games are not the same without you all being there. Thinking of a year ago, I remember Meranda catching for Carly at Bats & Balls. I remember her saying she did not feel good and about her headaches. If we only knew then. She pushed herself to be there for Carly. Back then she proved she was not a quitter. She made a fantastic comeback this year and caught for Carly again!  Meranda~ You are not a quitter now. Do not even think it. You have so many more years of life to live girl. So many more things to do. I know it is hard to look at it this way since all of you girls feel "softball is life". Softball is just one of the many things in life to do. Now it is time to find new stuff to do. Going to the gym is a great idea. Maybe from there you can get the hook up on new stuff to do. I know it will be hard, but if you ever want to go to a game to cheer on the girls just give me a call. They can really use your strength and support. I love you all very much! <3

Hey Girl, I'm really sorry to hear about softball. I can't imagine having to quite something that I loved because my own body was limiting me. But don't you think for one minute that you are a quitter. You have had to deal with many traumatic things in your young life that many people never have to go through. And you have been so brave and strong through your whole ordeal. You have been a real inspiration to us all. I know it was a hard discussion to make, but you need to focus on getting yourself back to good health. Just because you are not physically on the field with the other girls, doesn't mean that you aren't there in spirit. Every time we take the field, you are there with us too. I hope your Easter went well and have a wonderful time at prom in your beautiful dress.

    Meranda -
You are not a quitter and don't you ever think that!  You may not be apart of the softball team physically but I am sure you are part of that team mentally.  Your strength is what is helping guide them.

Our prayers are with you daily!  Keep up the good fight!!!  You are so amazing!!!

I can't even imagine what you are going through the coming days in May.  Our prayers continue to be for you and the rest of the family as well.

    God Bless You All

I know how terrible making this decision not to play softball must have been for you.  I just wanted you to know that I am praying for you.  If you need anything, I'm here for you...don't hesitate to ask!  Love ya!

I am so sorry for all the changes that Meranda is facing.  God has something better planned for all of you.  Don't punish yourselves by hidding away, avoiding the wedding or any other special day just because last year was filled with such bad news.  Crowd out those bad, painful memories with wonderful new memories, new beginnings, new life and especially with God's love.  Choose happiness.  You are still in my prayers and I can't wait to hear what God has planned for you.
