I'm so glad to read this update. It's been so long since the last one. I always respect the silence, but always wish for more news. Searle told me he saw you at Shomrei some weeks ago. Sorry I couldn't be there to greet you. I think about you so often. You're always in my thoughts and prayers.

Wow! We can never know why Hashem chooses our individual struggles for each of us; and no one has the right to presume why Hashem chose another person's path.

That said, Mel's monumental struggle has certainly been a lesson to anyone reading these posts in NOT taking for granted the multitude of "simple" gifts showered upon most of us every single hour.

Thank you both for bravely sharing the wonder of this with us. May Mel and his bride have a wonderful and well-deserved vacation in Florida, and continued success!

Dear Mel and Judy,

With each update of Mel's progress one would be blind not to see the power of Hashem.  All of the tefillot and Judy's unwavering support is incredible. While on the outside we see nissim, one who deals with illness and struggles understands that behind the closed doors each day is a struggle. Continue to look at the good and Hashem should continue to give you and your families the strength to go from strength to strength.  Hang in there.
