Melinda,

My name is Jim Chorniewy and I am the husband of Kimberly who has recently been diagnosed with ICC.  I believe that you have started following Kimberly's page.  I thank you very much for taking the time to write about your experiences so that all my know your courage and determination in battling this dreaded disease.  Kimberly as you have read has been accepted into the NIH program as of now (hopefully it will continue!).  I am sure that we will be in touch with you one way or another over the next month.  Just wanted to reach out to you and introduce myself, say hello, and let you know that we are now part of the team!!  All our best to you and your family.

I don't know if this is the proper place to post but how do I get my father into the NIH trail in Maryland. What are the requirements for admission?

He's 68 year old otherwise healthy, diagnosed with CC in Dec 2011.

He had the Klatskin tumor in bile duct, it was removed shortly thereafter by Dr. Myron Shwartz and it since recurred in liver/lung recently. (5.2 cm dominant mass).

He's currently undergoing experiemental treatment with Dr
Stephen Schreibman out of Morristown NJ - taking Affinator. The tumors are not shrinking but both the tumor makers & the "fuction" of the tumors is decreasing.

We are at a loss. Please email me at mgrbic@gmail.com and thank you for posting your you're story at the CC forum as well as on CaringBridge.

Please keep up the great work fighting the good fight!!
