Yesterday was a very difficult day for us all. It is hard to believe that it has been one year since Mel's accident. One very long year, and a hard one for her, and everyone who loves Melanie. I know we are all still in disbelief, waking up every morning thinking this is a horrible nightmare. You just never imagine something like this happing to your family. 

Melanie has had a pretty good week some ups and downs with being upset and pain. She has been complaining a lot that her chest and stomach hurts. She was in the ER last week because of pain and fever had a bunch of tests, and they showed nothing. Viral infection perhaps. We are going to schedule a scope to check for Reflux and a possible  stomach ulcer.
