It took a long time to choose a headstone to mark Meirions grave so we sat down and chatted about it . What shape stone, what colour , where to put the flowers, what verse to put on but we got there in the end, it had to be right .
Its individual but not overbearing , traditional but unique , stands out in its own way but not in your face , draws you to it for all the right reasons , just like him.
I am delighted with it.
It has to last for ever and we will make sure it does.
Kevin has put some photos on here for you to see.
Us - we carry on. I plod along as best I can facing lifes challenges ( and there have been quite a few lately ! ) Taking twice as long to do things that Meirion would have been able to sort out in a flash for me, but muddling through somehow .
I am as allways more grateful than words can say to the family and freinds who are constantly there for me and keep me on the staight and narrow helping whenever I call , you know who you are .
Helen, Kevin, and Ian are doing us proud as allways.
My dad who comes every week to do the garden a big job on its own, and much more , him and my mam who are there at all times at a momments notice if I need them no matter what. I am so lucky what would I do without you all .
Ian is doing well with his driving he is going to be a geat driver just like his dad , not like me !
I had a lovely holiday in Turkey with Ian at Easter .
I know Meirion would want me to keep you all updated on things here and I will continue to do so, he is around us allways, and missing him gets no easier.
All my love and best wishes to you all.
