Meghan got some great lab results, all her blood work was normal!!!! I can tell you that I am so relieved. A bag a bricks, again, just fell off the back of my neck. Dr. Ali still does not have a replacement doctor but thinking she might, and this is only a might, be switching over to a CHOC (Children's of Orange County) doctor. Doctor Ali has not made a final decision on a doctor, and Peter and I want to wait to see who she picks before we head out. (Sometimes it is so helpful to write this all down b/c I can use it all for reference when I need to look it all back up before the doctors visit!)
Meghan will get CAT scans July 13th. If no signs of cancer appear, then she may have her port removed, I have a feeling, and this is just a feeling..... I think the doctor wants it to stay in a little longer, but with Meghan starting school I feel that should she get sick, a fever we will be in the hospital right away. We will talk it over and see how Meghan does with the IV. Dr. Ali could not be more kind and approachable to Meghan and myself (and the Big GUY), I am going to really miss her very much.
The kids are all done with school and we are just relaxing. My best friend Alison, her Mom Diane, and one of her sons Dominic came down to visit and we all went to the beach, that was just so much fun, they ended up taking my Peter with them and he then went with the Mower family in SCV for a couple days. Peter enjoyed Jacob (the birthday kid), *Trevor*, Jordan, Taylor, Ethan, Megan, and Mr. and Mrs. Mowers company!!! WOW! he couldn't have had a better time, Thanks to both families!
Pete has been working, working, and working, but his vacation starts tomorrow! He has a big trial next week and will work it but then afterward will have time for sand and surf with his favorite 5 people. It was Pete's Birthday this week and the kids all made his cards. Mike's card read "I love you so much Dad because you are Cool!" Meghan made Pete a cake and she decorated it with every sprinkle we had. It can't get any better than that.
Tomorrow is the Jamison's Annual Pool Party, Woohoo! I told the kids they better watch out, I think their Dad might Dance...
