Hello faithful follwers! I can't believe it is July 2nd!! The weather here has been cooler than average. Only in the 70's the last few days. But after that heatwave of heat indexes in the 100's it is a little bit of heaven for sure! Megs is doing good! We are praying that this time of feeling good and not in pain continues FOREVER! Nothing worse that watching your little angel in pain and not being able to do anything about it really. I so wish she could talk and be able to tell us what is hurting. Tomorrow's plan is to stain the deck. Well, actually me and that mouse in my pocket say we all the time. Actually, Scott will do it and I will watch. Hehehehe....We were contemplating going to see fireworks tomorrow night at the marina, but have decided we will wait til Sat night. Sat we are going to my brother's for a cookout and the kids can swim. Then Sat night we will go and watch fireworks. As long as we have Megs headphone things (you know the kind they wear at the gun range?), she loves to watch them, minus the noise. Last night at 8:30 Jacob and his friends decided they wanted to go swimming and swim with the underwater pool lights. OK. The outside temp was only 69...Brrr...Those little pea pickers had a blast! I sat outside and watched them and listened and just had so much fun. To be a kid again, and have no cares in the world. We could learn a whole lot from them you know. Today, my sister in law and I went out to eat at a local pub for lunch, then we went and saw My Sister's keeper. Amazing movie. Bawled thru the whole thing. I guess, I wasn't expecting it to hit me the way it did. Granted we are not facing cancer, but so much of their feelings and how your whole family is effected when you have a kiddo who is medically fragile was so spot on. It does affect the whole family. I won't go into my long story on all that right now. Sometime I will spill all those. Josh, is taking a few summer classes and working. Right now, he is out to dinner with my mom and dad at O'Charleys. So Jacob thinks we should have Dairy Queen for supper. (Not my favorite by far, but Scott is working and I'm not cooking. If I didn't tell you, Scott is no longer on midnights. He is now on 3-11's with weekends off. So it will be so much nicer to have weekends off. But in the line of law enforcement you get used to it. Hopefully, by Jan they will hire some more officers and he will be on days. But, we praise God, he has a good job, with good insurance and when he retired from the guard all his state time travelled with him. Once again, God is GREAT!!!! Well, I guess I better get my bumm in gear and get Megs some supper, go have yummy Dairy Queen for supper, get Jacob's sheets out of the dryer and on his bed and get ours in the dryer. If I don't update again, everyone have a blessed and safe 4th of July weekend. We love you all and can never thank you enough for loving and praying for our lil peanut and our family. I put a few new pics in the gallery. One of Megan and Grandpa Ozzie (Scott's dad). One of Jacob and Megs and one more...Oh my, that is bad I forgot already. Hugs, love and God's Blessings to everyone.
