Thank you all for your kindness and generosity. Our family is overwhelmed by our sweet girl's impact on so many people. There is some comfort in knowing that she had such a presence for so many people. Please continue to pray for the other victims of this terrible tragedy. Written Aug 22, 2011 8:34amLate last night it became apparent that our Meagan was no longer with us. The decision was made to allow her to be at peace. This afternoon she is scheduled for a surgery that will provide gifts of sight, health, and life to dozens who are in need.
We want to thank all of you who have kept her and us in your prayers. It has been humbling to see the huge number of people Meagan has touched in such a positive way. The outpouring of love and hope was more than we could have possibly expected and was an inspiration to all of us to keep her fighting. We hope that she will continue to touch more lives in the same way through her passing. Please continue to keep her and our family in your prayers. At this time arrangements are uncertain and we ask that you continue to respect Meagan's privacy at this time. Her light will continue to shine on all of us as her journey of hope
continues on to heaven.
Written Aug 21, 2011 5:27amMeagan had a calm night last night. Her temperature is down. She is still in her spaceship bed for now. We are hoping for many good minutes today. We truly can feel your positive energies and prayers radiating through her. Please continue to ask God to be with her and all of her caregivers.
