Good Morning-
Thank you for your prayers for Maya yesterday! We had a full day....left home at 8am got home at4:30pm!
The MRI took a bit longer than expected (I was away from Maya for 2 hours) and she was fully sedated. It's always a bit frightening to walk leave your child in other's care while they are fully sedated - but I got through it and was SOOO thrilled that a friend had felt the Holy Spirit tell her to come and just be there with me at the hospital. It was a harder day on me than I had prepared for and the company was so welcomed. (a little lesson in following the Spirit's guiding....)
We are PRAISING GOD - Maya's MRI is clear! I was reading through the take home paper's last night and the words on the paper were sort of surreal....
1...Maya being evaluated for "Late neurodegnerative type."
2. this was in all cap letters..."SPECIFICALLY, THERE IS NO EVIDENCE TO SUGGEST THE NEURODEGENERATIVE VARIANT OF LANGERHANS CELL HISTIOCYTOSIS. FINAL REPORT."
AMEN to that! I just sat there last night with the paper in my hands - saying thank you, Lord. Yesterday was a big deal, that was a big test - it could have gone either way...but by the grace of God and His powerful healing hand...Maya continues to beat the odds and walk around as a healthy girl. Last night was just refreshing for me to truly pause and not take a "clear" test for granted and move on quickly....but just say THANK YOU JESUS!
And Selah and Nadia were in the loving arms of some great friends here - again longer than expected day for them...and I continue to say thanks for the body of Christ here in Dallas serving our familyl!
Thanks for caring the load with us and praying on our behalf- God is good all the time.
until next time,
Laura :-)
