Jackie...I don't know why...but I feel such a great sadness for you and the kids...Kerwin, Margaret and Ben. Guess it is because I was so sure of Matts "miracle". He did get his miracle, but it was life in eternity. The Lord and Matt will always be with you to give you the strength to carry on. You have 4 beautiful children that will give you the inspiration to do and be all that God has intended for you. I am sad to see the caring bridge site come to an end as it made me feel as though I was a part of your family. You have shown such great strength and faith through all of this. You have been a great witness to others and I'm sure a lot of good will come from your experience. I believe everything happens for a reason.... if one person found the Lord through Matts experience....it was what the Lord intended..... You are in my thoughts and prayers...

    Hello Jackie,

I think of you, your children and Matt's family all the time. Of course nothing I can say can help the great pain and loss that you have all had to endure. I will continue to pray for you all that you can eventually move forward with the strength, courage and love that you and Matt demonstrated throughout your lives together. I hope for you that God, your children and Matt's memory provide you with comfort and continued hope in the days ahead. You will remain in my heart and prayers even as time passes.

With love to you and your family always,

    Maleka Morrison

What a courageous young woman you have become. You are such an inspiration to many of us. God bless you now as you mother your children and carry on without Matt. You have been blessed to have been loved by such a man and we are praying for you now that God will give you the wisdom and strength to continue on. We love you, Darrol and Carolyn

Thank you for your last entry. The love, warmth and beauty of your words touched me. I still pray for you and your family. I can't even imagine, when I try my heart fills with sadness. Your children are so blessed to have a mommy like you and will be so thankful to look back and remember all those precious words that you shared with them about their daddy. You are blessing others with your strength and with your words that you share with us in your journal. I give Great Thanks to God for giving you that strength and all the provisions through all the people loving and being there for your family. You will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers...

I will always think and pray for your family forever. Through you hardship and strength, you have taught me so much.. Unbelievably, my dear friend just lost her husband.. I know that none of us can avoid this part of life(death). All i can do is pray for those who have lost. Live life to the fullest everyday.. I wish i could have been more help to you than just mail..Maybe one day our paths will cross. But for now, a big Hug from our family to yours...Take care of yourself

Thanks so much for your last post...we were so inspired by your faith, hope and strength during this time of trial. We especially appreciated your postings at every step of the journey, sharing your insights, faith and struggle. It's easy to have faith when everything is going well, but more of a challenge when life takes a differerent turn.

Your example was a an inspiration to all of us.

We continue to pray for you, your children and Matt, who we also believe is in heaven, and watching you and your children from above.

We hope that you and your children continue to cherish the memory of Matt, and over time, begin to build your life anew.

We contributed to the trust fund, and wanted to let you know that if there is anything else we can do to help, let us know.

    God bless,

    Jackie, my dear friend,

I know how much your heart is breaking, and I am so proud of you! I continue to be encouraged by your faithfulness and love of Matt. You are a precious child of God, and I am so blessed to have been brought into this journey with you. I am so thankful for you. I am thankful for Matt. I will cotninue to embark on this new leg of the journey with you. Your example of love, and hope for your children is such a glowing example of Christ. I am grateful that God brought us together as neighbors, as friends, as sisters in Christ! Tim and I are here for you, whatever you need! Matt's Miracle was a wonderful way to connect all of us, and share your story of hope, love, grief and faith. I look forward to hearing more stories of how lives were eternally changed because of Matt's Miracle.

Thank you for helping me to see the light in the darkness.

    In Christ's love,

Dear Jackie, Thank you for this last entry at Caringbridge. I think you are very brave, and I have still been prying, but didn't know what to say, others seem to say it all so much better. I am sure that God will provide healing and comfort for your broken heart, and that later He will use you mightily to encourage others who go through similar hardships. That is what it says in 2Cor. 3,4. I pray that He will provide for you and your children in every need, abundantly. I hope that you can rest in Him for now . with admiration, Rosalie Howarth
