My Story

First let me say how overwhelming and humbling it is to have the support, love, prayers, and offers to help from all our friends, family and patients, near and far.

Life was picture perfect until Sunday, April 27 when I got a call from EMS that Matt had had a seizure. Prior to that there were no symptoms, except a minor hand tremble on the Saturday prior.

Hard to believe it has been a year since our lives took a different path.

Exactly a year ago Matt had his seizure. We marked that anniversary by going down to Duke today and getting another “all’s clear” report. Another big sigh of relief. He has 10 rounds of chemo down (trust me, Matt’s counting) and only two more rounds to go, hopefully. He’ll continue to have MRIs every 2 months.

Thank you to all for your continued concern and prayers.
