Hey Everyone!
Thank you so much to everyone that made it out to the house on Saturday, we had a wonderful time, we are officially moved in! We actually moved in Saturday after the party and had the whole family helping to get everything in and we spent our first night in the house Saturday night. It was really nice to have everything out of the apartment and get into the new house. The house is just beautiful, I wish you could all see Matt rolling around the house with so much newfound freedom, it's really amazing how much space is available for him to roll around and he is in and out of the house on his own all day long, literally, in/out, in/out, in/out with his keypass that opens all the doors to the big outside world. This morning I woke up early, made some coffee and sat outside and watched a bunch of birds take a bath in the runoff from the sprinklers, it just made me take it all in and think about all the little things in life that make such a big difference for us now. I loved sitting out there with so much peace and quiet.
I have so much to write and post and pictures and videos and basically just everything but we do not have internet access yet, screwup at qwest, but we will get it fixed I am sure in the next few days/weeks. They just need to mail our stuff to us but they say we don't come up on the grid, that makes Matt so happy! My cellphone does not work at the house very well, so here is our new number 303-840-0273 and our address will be posted under hospital information, that will be our home address and phone number. We are thrilled that all of this happened with getting into the house and so forth, Matt and I are truly thankful for all the wonderful people we have in our lives and most of all to Homes For Our Troops for starting us out with a new future and a new home.
