I thought I should catch you up on things.  The Reading Garden Dedication went very well.  It was a beautiful day, bright, sunny and warm with no rain.  All of our friends and family were in attendance and it was just a beautiful day.  I've added some pictures for you.

Megan is doing really well in softball.  Her hitting has greatly improved and you can guarantee a hit from her evertime at bat.  She has just amazed all of us. (Way to go, Meg!!)  We attended her band concert the other night (she plays flute) and we all enjoyed that.  She's getting A's and B's in school so her father and I couldn't be prouder with all she's been accomplishing.

Mark and I continue to work which keeps us busy, pays the bills, and helps keep our mind off of missing Matt....which truly is impossible.  We've been building a deck over the last month and a half.  We've had a few helpers (my dad and Jim), but overall it's been Mark, myself, and on rare occasions, Megan.  There are times we wish we had that extra person and yet, we feel really good about doing this on our own.  Of course, we miss Matt.  He would have helped us as much as he possibly could.  We think about him, shed a tear, remember, and then continue on.  I know he's chearing us on from above.  I'll post a picture when we're done.

I went to the clinic last week.  It was the first time without Matt.  Dr. Golembe and I hugged several times and, of course, I cried on occasion.  Dr. G said his grandson was needing a "specific" LEGO kit and his grandfather would have to go buy it for him.  Whenever he does, he ALWAYS fondly thinks of Matt.  That was so special to hear.  Thanks Dr. G.

Thanks for allowing us to stay in your lives and for praying for us as we try to live without our precious son.  We don't know why he was taken away, but we do know God is in control....we won't always like it, but we must trust HIM.  WE pray for all of those kids out there who need our prayers...and give praise for Raymond (way to go!!!)

Always remembering,
Jen

PS - my trusty sidekick, Jack, is still by my side everytime I write.  He is such a good dog....even when he tries to eat the cat.
