A quick update on Matt...
Since Wednesday, Matt has stabilized. His pneumonia is getting better and his eyes and speech are clearing up a little more. Mom had a better visit on Thursday, and Marc spent some time by his side on Friday (today). We will visit dad over the weekend and I should be able to give you a more thorough update by Sunday.
I know that through these posts many of you are sharing in the emotional ups and downs that we feel as dad gains or looses ground from day to day. The doctors continue to tell us that this is to be expected, even though they are slightly baffled by all that has transpired in the course of his battle through the transplant. However, he is still fighting - amazing these same doctors more than once already.
It is impossible to tell what tomorrow will bring, but I am glad to report a couple of better days since Wednesday.
