We are STILL inpatient. It seems like his counts will never come up, this is day 11. Doesn't look like we will be making it to my Kassay family reunion on Sat in the catskills of NY.. I'm disappointe
d about that, but have to do what we have to do. Not sure what the plan is or when he'll be released because we don't get his counts from the nurses or docs here, they just say "they are low". It's the hurry up and wait game again, but Mason is in great spirits, his bottom is healing and he's eating and drinking a lot. He still just has cabin fever... We are trying to recruit for his benefit golf tournament on July 18th at Meadowcreek
, so if you know any golfers, please have them contact me or Amy Branham Bishop at
amynleebiship@aol.com or by telephone at 434 882-4627.
Our scans are finally scheduled for July 8th and 9th next week in NYC... My father and I will be taking Mason and I have a great feeling about them because July 8th marks our 4year anniversary from when we found out he was NO EVIDENCE OF DISEASE the first time... Let's pray history repeats itself... :) We will still have to undergo one more round of chemo (UGHHH DREADFUL) but it will be much easier going into that knowing he's already clean than having to pray that it will clean him up... The unknown is so scary to all of us, especially in circumstanc
es like these. So let's rally the troops for the tourney and have a great time on July 18th...
Love and prayers to all our fellow warriors, family and friends.
