My Story

On December 20, 2006 we were very excited to find out if we were having a boy or a girl. Instead we discovered that our baby had a rare defect called a diaphragmatic hernia. He was given a 50/50 chance of survival. We were given several options, one of which was termination. Without too much thought we decided that termination was NOT an option for us.

Happy to report that Mason is doing GREAT!!!

He is growing like a weed and talking NON STOP!!!He is officially the echo in our house so we are making great efforts to watch what we are saying....mommy is doing quite well ;-)

Mason had his birthday party! It was a great day filled with lots of family and friends. He played on his new playground and had a blast!!! It is so wonderful to watch him grow up and thrive right before our eyes...almost makes me afraid to blink seems like everytime I do he is on to the next thing! I was always told it would go by so fast...but who ever listens to their elders anyway ;-)

We are doing the Stroll THIS WEEKEND!!!! Our fundraising goal is $1500.00. We are currently at around $800.00. If you would like to donate please click on the link that will lead you to our personal page. You can use a credit card on line (secure sight) or send a check to us. We really appreciate all the support we have received this far =-) I can't tell you enough how much you have all helped us get through these first years of our life with our monkey Mason =-) Thank you a million times!!!!!
