The Story:
June and Marybeth were coming home from work on August 15, 2018 when they were in a horrible accident. It had started down pouring one mile past county road 6 exit on I-90.  June’s car lost control in the west bound lane due to hydroplaning and crossed the median into the east bound lane. A semi struck the driver side of the car and the car spun into the ditch, over to county road 8 roadside. June and Marybeth have sustained critical injuries. They are at St. Mary’s in Rochester recovering from their injuries that will be life changing for both families.

Journal entry by Michelle Hemann

After 3 months and 1 day MB is home and getting settled in! It has been a long journey to get to this point but we are all feeling extra thankful this Thanksgiving holiday to have our mom and wife home. She continues to amaze us all and we are excited, yet nervous to find our family’s new normal. Again, we appreciate and thank everyone for the love and support our family has continued to receive. Her answer to what they need is: you can bring meals of your choice over and visit me after the first few days of being home.

If you know MB you know how ambitious she is so it shouldn’t surprise you that her main goal this first week home is to prepare and host a thanksgiving meal! Here is a picture of MB in the entrance of the addition that is still a work in progress.
