Hello Everyone!!
.. The Avastin has been a highly tolerable drug. There have been a few spikes in her blood pressure, which has been ok to deal with since normally her pressure is pretty low. She has been up and about a lot more lately ~ much, much more than the CPT11, Vorinostat and Avastin combo. Once again, our cousins came over this weekend so we had a very nice weekend full of sun, pool and of course food! ...
My mom still has trouble sleeping, even with sleep aids. I think I am going to go get her some Melatonin from whole foods tomorrow and see if that does the trick. But energywise, its a dramatic change from the other treatment protocol. Her next infusion is scheduled for Thursday ~ and her favorite sister and children also come on Thursday, so we have a full day.. ! Jazmene's dance recital is this next weekend and then its off to Orlando for a MUCH needed vacation!! Her Next MRI is not until August ~ hopefully the Avastin would have shrunk the tiny bit of tumor that remains in the cavity.. Fingers crossed, and of course.. many Prayers..
