Hi everyone. I didn't realize that it had been so long since I had written. To be honest, I've been avoiding the site. I am in a much better place now than I have been in a long time and sometimes coming back to the site does nothing but bring up sadness... Its really weird now sometimes thinking back over the last few years and everything that happened. I think to myself- did all that really happen? It almost seems like another life... But things are going really well for me now. I have been dating someone for about 6 months now and things are going very well. I am finally having fun again and the sweet parts of life that were missing for so long are starting to come back. The confussing part about it all is that I am still so in love and missing Marlena terribly that I wonder how much of myself I'll ever be able to give to someone else- no matter how wonderful they are... I guess time will tell but I don't think that feeling will ever go away and I don't think that I really want it to. But like i said, things are going very well. I have a trip to the Caymans booked for the first week in september and looking forward to that. it will be my first long vacation in 4 years! looking at getting into a scuba class before we go. I do need to work on my tan before I go though- man am I white chested!

by the way- it was good to see some on you at the cancer walk. it was a hard night at times but good at the same time. I hope all of you are doing well.
