Hello crew! It has been a while. Marissa is still cancer free and we rejoice every day for her health. This week we took a road trip to visit my Uncle and Marissa's Great Uncle who has recently been diagnosed with CML.  Bone marrow transplants are not an option for older people, so he will take medicine and depend on prayers. Please pray for him as he battles many health problems including CML. His name is Darrel.

Many of you were interested in offering bone marrow to Marissa when she was diagnosed with cancer. We were blessed by your offer and thankfully we found a perfect match with Molly!

However, there are many children out there waiting for their perfect match. They are getting sicker and sicker while they wait and their organs are being damaged by the cancer. The good news is you can help them too. Right now you can register for FREE on the national bone marrow registry.  Just go to www.marrow.org and click on join.  It is not every day that you can save a life with such a small effort. Please consider being a bone marrow donor. Please don't put it off, it is so easy to procrastinate, but this is only for a short time. June 22 it the last day it is offered for free. When our family was tested, it cost a bunch of money. It is amazing that it is free for now. Please think about it. I know you would have done it for Marissa!!
