Hello from Reece’s Rainbow! I have recently started serving Reece’s Rainbow as the Post-Adoption Care Coordinator.   Some adopted children slide right into the family but most will have some struggles and some may have a very hard time.  My role is to help keep families connected after they come home and to provide support and a listening ear as well as access to helpful resources.  You are not alone! If you are not already involved in the After the Rainbow yahoo group then please join us.  It’s a great place to give and receive information and support!  Also, if I can help you personally in any way, please feel free to contact me.  My email address is Rachel@reecesrainbow.org   Blessings , Rachel Whitmire Post-Adoption Care Coordinator Reece’s Rainbow Down Syndrome Adoption Ministry www.reecesrainbow.org

Praying hard that you get some positive word this coming week about adopting Marina.  I believe her eyes are blue! :) You are both amazing and have handled living in Limbo better than I can.  Limbo is a very hard place to be, and i am praying that you are coming to the final lap of Limbo in the coming days...Love & Big hugs, and happily waiting for our Newest Grand-daughter to come on 'home'...Marina Bachman is such a nice name! Excited to know someone close is also trying to adopt from Reece's Rainbow, my husband and I have just started the process.  We found a 2 year old boy with down syndrome that I know is meant to be a part of our family. I will keep you in our prayers.

I love your analogy of the seasons changing.....the Holy Spirit layed the same analogy on my heart this morning for my sis's Caringbridge post (and I hadn't read yours first).  I can confirm to you that without a doubt Marina "knows" you are fighting for her!  THAT is how our God works!  I've learned this full well!  I love you!
    I'm praying you through!
p.s.  I tried to comment on the blog but wasn't sure how to "leave" it....I'm not a blogger so I wasn't sure what to do or how to leave the comment.... sorry!

I pray that the govenor's humble heart is truly moved by God's spirit to grant the pardon and that Marina is held tight in God's embrace until she can be held tight in yours.

Thank you for keeping us posted.  We are praying mightily on your behalf.

I haven't signed the guest book for a long time but wanted you to know I continue praying!  I know that God can make a mess into a miracle and watching Him do it is amazing!

Really exciting stuff!  Hang tough!  And we'll pray hard the Governor will use this opportunity to help make something good happen in this world.  You have to be exhausted.  Sleep sweet.
