I figured that the appropriate way to sign off on this site was with a resounding THANK YOU and an invitation to my summer party on August 23rd at 3pm. Bring the kids, bring bathing suits and come to see my 'new' house. I figure this is not just the 9th annual BBQ but also a re-housewarming and a celebration of kicking cancer's tail. If you can come, please email me (mariascurry@yahoo.com) I also updated the photos with some pictures from the party on my deck (before I was moved in) to celebrate my last day of radiation with some champagne. This was with my 'cancer posse' who really did the heavy lifting of taking care of me. Included in this group were Judy (who attended but was not in the photo) Kate, Sue, Gina and Melissa. I also included some photos of the trip the kids and I took to DC when the house was delayed a week and we were stircrazy. I've decided that in a couple of weeks I will print this site in its entirety - both journal and guestbook - and will keep it for my kids to read when they are old enough to have insight into "that crazy year" from thier childhood. Thank you all for your generosity of spirit and substance. The boys and I hope to see you on the 23rd
