Hi Everyone,

Well, it's been a little over a week since I got home from the hospital and each day there is a slight improvement. When I first came home I had to use a walker but now I don't need one. I still walk with a limp but I am going to physical therapy twice a week to help me gain strength and learn to walk normally again. Since being home, most of my days are spent at the doctors office for blood draws, physical therapy, etc. I am hoping to go back to work next week for 3 hour days to start with (that is if my doctor approves that). I am just really longing for normal life again. This experience was a complete and total nightmare for me but I did learn a lot as well. I have learned not to take the simple things in life for granted. Just being able to walk or stand for long periods of time...I am so thankful that God spared my life! I along with Pete and my parents also want to thank all of you for your prayers and support. We have all been just overwhelmed with the love and care during this difficult time. I know I wouldn't have been able to get through this without such wonderful friends and family. May the Lord bless each of you the way you have been a blessing to us!
