Margaret Romph's Journal
Written Mar 1, 2014 11:11pmGood evening,Margaret is doing well. She finally returned to school on Thursday after being diagnosed with a UTI and sinus infection. We lost one of our nurses yesterday which I don't want to go into now. But did want to ask for Prayers this evening please. Read Below.
Prayers please as our bad luck continues. On our way home from KC this afternoon when the Ice started hitting. I lost control of our Truck when we hit Black Ice. THANK GOD for the miracle of know one coming towards us or we would have hit them head on. We then started spinning going back to our lane where we then went down an embankment where the truck start to flip. The drive...rs side hit pretty hard on the ground and then by the Grace of God slammed back up instead of rolling completely over. People kept driving by instead of helping but luckily one of the dads who was a little ways behind us saw us as he passed by. He is a life flight nurse for MU Hospital.. Once again Angels were among us. I knew immediately that DeMarcus and Patrick were injured. I don't know how many police, fireman were there but 3 ambulances later we were taking to St. Mary's Hospital. DeMarcus was thought to have a broken leg at the scene but it is not broken. Thank you God. They did keep him for observation because his chest was hurting and he was throwing up. He also hit his head pretty hard. He was behind me and we were on the driver side that slammed into the ground. Patrick had a cat scan done and he has soreness in this neck but they found nothing wrong. He is just very sore. My mom is still at the hospital as well. Things are coming back ok. She hit her head as well. They were xraying her hip when I left. I had a cat scan done as well since I was having some back pain but mainly numbness in my left arm. It came back fine other than a knot in my thyroid which I will have checked. Patrick and I have been discharged and have make it home safely. Fixing to take meds and go to bed. Just got word Demarcus is being released now. Hopefully my mom will be soon. Please continue to pray for all of us as we heal up. Please be safe and cherish every moment. Life is way to short.

You can send a message on Miracles 4 Margaret page. Please use the personal message so it does not get misplaced on the page. Please include a phone number as well as a shipping address (if needed). If we need to ship the shirts to you, we will need to include a shipping charge, which we are checking into now. We will be able to determine an estimate on that as soon as we receive an order.
We do not have any shirts in stock at the moment, we are trying to get an idea of how many people are interested so that we can get them ordered.
I will not have the www.romphbenefitfund.com on them as that does not exist any longer. Thanks for your support.
CT Update & Other news

We went to the Dr. today and got the CT Scan results, Margaret does not have a break or dislocation. Basically it was sprained and she has some osteoporosis in her bones. Her bone density is pretty bad which we knew from her last Dexa scan. We have not been able to do her infusions due to her being ill at the time of them. We are setting her 2nd one up for the first of next week. Hopefully they will begin to help.
We also took her to the dr. today because she has been sick over the last few days. She has missed the last 2 days of school not feeling well with low grade temperatures. I had a feeling it was a Urinary Tract Infection and that was confirmed today. She has white blood cells in he urine. They are going to send it off for a culture and we will have it back in a few days. They did put her on antibiotics today.
They also checked her G-Tube because it looked like it was infected. It was not thank goodness.
Pacing is going well. We are still in the works of getting all of the details worked out. They did say that there was definitely progress still. YEAH!
Please continue to pray for Margaret for all of this to work out. I hope everyone has a great night.
God Bless you all.
