We are happy to introduce Violet Alexa, who joined our family on Monday, May 18. She weighed 8 lb 1 oz. and was 21.75 inches long. It was wonderful to have a 'normal' birth experience and bring our baby home with us just days after she was born!

Makena is a great big sister and loves to help with Violet. She enjoys spending time outside these days, particularly playing "dishes" on our deck (see pic) and visiting parks with twisty slides. She is busy and a super fun (and funny) 2.5 year old. She is talking up a storm--if you don't want it repeated, you don't say it in our house! :)
