My Story

Makade is proof that kids can get cancer too. Makade turned 2 years old on November 7th, 2005. Just 9 short days later, he was diagnosed as having Hepatoblastoma, a rare cancer of the liver.

Makade accomplished 3 years of remission on February 25th, 2009!

It sure doesn't feel like summer anymore here in WI.  I wish the temperature would warm up a bit!  Hopefully by this weekend we will get back into the 70s with some sunshine!

I hope everyone has a safe and fun July 4th.  We'll probably be going to see some fireworks and maybe even a parade!

I start karate next week.  I'm so excited!!!  Momma's hoping I'll be a little more into it this summer than I was last.  When I wanna be good...  I'm good, but when I'd rather just hang out...  I just kinda do my own thing!

My next appointment has been made at CHW for the Next Steps Clinic...
Friday, September 25th  (Bummer...  I'm going to have to miss a day of school!)
