Yea! Yea! Yea! Hip hip, hooray! I don't want to shout out to loudly and jinx it....but, Maggie's counts today were awesome. Her wbc is 7.0, hemoglobin 7.6, and her platelets are 74. That's right you heard me...well hopefully the print is not so small that you can't see it...her platelets are one point away from starting some sort of treatment against the cancer. What a great Cinco de Mayo present for us. Her eye is healing nicely. There is still some redness...the doctor said that will take a couple of weeks to disappear. She also has been struggling with a bug that is going around town, but seems to be getting over that now. She feels like she was hit by a truck but the cough and sinus part is so much better. So hopefully by Thursday when we go back into clinic her platelets will be over 75. Thank you everyone for all of the wonderfully positive thoughts and prayers. Keep up the good work!!!
