OK so we FINALLY got all the kids well…and then this strange flu virus attacked Me. It had to have been sometime in the middle of the night because I have been watching out for it very very closelyJ Thankfully it only last a couple of days and today, Monday we are all happy and healthy. We had a great weekend. Hope everyone else did too. Madison had clinic on Friday and things went very good. She got all her meds and the only bummer is that this week is her steroid week. Kinda fitting that it is about to be Halloween, because Steroid Weeks are always frightening. Luckily she is only on them for 5 days so right about the time she goes completely nuts – she gets to stop taking them. Really, I am just glad she is a small child, because I’m pretty sure she would just take me outJ OOOH what a temper – where does she get that from?
We worked on Halloween costumes this weekend. I think we have it figured out and we are so excited. Madison is going to be Super Girl – her choice. She spotted the costume in a magazine and that was it, so luckily I found her size and she is ready. Of course, she has already worn it around the house some. Haven’t quite got it through her head, however, that a fake gold bracelet does not REALLY mean that you can fly. Devon – God love him – now thinks he can fly and he doesn’t even have a special bracelet. Devon is going to be an Alabama Football Player and Mackenzie will be his Bama cheerleader. She is already one of Devon’s biggest fans – laughs at him all the time - so I thought it was pretty fitting – so cute.
Kelly and I took the babies to the Pumpkin Patch in Helena on Sunday afternoon. We have been to the same place every year since Madison was born - It is a very small church down the street from our house that just has a small pumpkin patch with a few places that make some really cute pictures. (That is usually my main goal anyway). Devon had a blast running around, and I guess he only fell over about 20-30 pumpkins. The funny thing was that every time he fell over one, he looked surprised, like he didn’t know where it came from. I got it all on video – can’t wait to embarrass him when he is older. Of course, I also have new pics but will have to add them later.
When we got home, we spent the evening making cupcakes, candy lollipops, and Halloween Treat bags for Madison’s class. She is quite the little baker and once I FINALLY made her understand that it was NOT someones birthday, we had a great timeJ I talked to her a while ago and she said all her friends loved them.
We have a crazy week planned. Just lots of things to do this week. Keep us in your prayers, as some of the things we are working on are definitely prayer worthy. I also want to quickly say Thank You to anyone who came out and supported our car wash this weekend. I can’t tell you how much it meant to us and every bit helps. Obviously the financial help is so greatly needed and appreciated more than you know, but it is always so nice to meet people and know that even more prayers are being said for our family and mainly our sweet baby love. As I have said before, you know who you are and we love you so much.
Thanks for checking in and I hope you all have a great week.
