Maddox is the bravest boy I know. He was diagnosed with Opsoclonus Myoclonus Syndrome and Seizures. The OMS affects only 1 in 10 MILLION children. He has been fighting hard and we appreciate all the love and support. We are sad to announce that Maddox earned his angel wings on March 2nd, 2013.
Maddox was born April 18th, 2011. Though he had health issues, he was a perfectly normal baby boy. However, everything came to a halt at around 14 months old. He had developmental regression (losing his ability to walk, talk, etc) and was eventually diagnosed with Opsoclonus Myoclonus Sydrome. He also developed epilepsy that is not controlled well by typical means. His epilepsy led to cardiac arrythmias and eventually cardiac arrest. Though he had survived 28 minutes without a pulse back in November, Maddox eventually passed away on March 2nd, 2013.
