Dance like no one is watching, Love like you'll never be hurt, Sing like no one is listening, Live like it's heaven on earth.

I don't think that phrase can say it any better, and it most certainly is something I try to live by. Now, don't get me wrong...it isn't always easy and it doesn't always happen that way, but I try to strive for it everyday!
We have had an absolutely amazing start to our summer, and Maddie has experienced more amazing firsts, with a chunk of them coming from this past weekend! We spent the weekend up north in Rhinelander with some great friends of ours and we all had a great time!
Okay, so Maddie's recent firsts, given in no particular order:
1. Went to "GROUP" language pre-school. There were 4 other kids with her!
2. Had her FIRST DAY at K-2 Preschool today. This was with 6 or 7 other kids! YIKES!
3. Went on her first hike on an island.
4. Ate her first SMORES! YUMMY!
5. Took her first paddle boat ride!
6. Sat on a raft in the middle of the lake.
7. Took a nearly 3 hour boat ride and loved it!
8. Blew bubbles in the swimming pool. For some reason, the bathtub was no problem but that pool...
9. Learned how to climb onto her changing table in her room (I didn't sa they were all good)
10. TOUCHED A FISH SHE CAUGHT FISHING!!! SEE PHOTO!
I think I may have a little outdoors girlie on my hands! She just LOVES everything outside!
So, I'm sure I am forgetting some as there have been so many. She amazes us everyday with something! Now, if only we can add talking to that list!!!!!!! Soon....I hope.
The boys have been enjoying the first few weeks of summer as well and keeping themselves (and US) BUSY! Both Devin & Jacob are in baseball, tennis lessons, and diving lessons right now. Devin got to pitch his 2nd game last week and did great. He also had a great hit. Jacob's last game he had an amazing hit as well!
Through all these amazing moments we have to take a deep breathe and give praise to God for everything He has blessed us with and there is just so much. Not a day goes by that I don't live in fear about Maddie's heart, but I truly think that will never go away; well, unless the docs told me she was completely healed and I never had to come back, which, I never give up hope on. It affects your life forever, but what an appreciation it creates, and how grateful we are.
I want to also thank God for answered prayers on my "papa"; my kids great-grandfather. He had a heart cath yesterday and praise to God they were able to correct some problems he had. He is a remarkable man!
Maddie has her 2 year check up tomorrow. I think all will go well, but as us heart families know ANY appointment turns the stomach and stresses you out! So, please pray that all will go wonderful and they will agree with how wonderful I think Maddie is doing!
There are also a couple kiddos that are in need of some prayers right now. Morgan is going in for his surgery in a couple days, Carsyn is a beautiful little girl who is such a fighter, and Isaac is a little boy on his road to recovery.
Thanks again for all of your continued support. I looked at the visitor count today and it is 99, 470! We are almost to 100,000! I am just in awe at how many people's lives my little princess has touched. Thank you all!!!!
Love,
The Watson's
