Hi Sue - Wasn't able to attend on Saturday as I was doing a charity bike ride - that being said, Mackenzie has been on my mind and in my heart... after reading of her bday event last week, I wore my purple "Believe" sweatshirt.  As I was walking around Hampden (my neighborhood in Baltimore City), someone behind me said "how did you know Mackenzie?"  It was a 20-something guy, whose sister was a pharmacist in your area that knew Mackenzie and had talked about her to her brother.  It was a wonderful small world moment, and just the connection I needed after feeling emotional and missing little Kenzie that day.  It was like she sent an angel to warm my heart up - and it worked!  thinking of you and sending much love - Nurse Crystal xoxo

Hi Sue, Birk and I have been thinking of you and your family on Kenzie's 16th birthday!! Interestingly enough we ordered tickets to see Ben Carson here in Naples , Florida next November 14th,2013. He appears to be quite a man! We will be heading back to Scituate, Mass. In about 10 days and are looking forward to it . We have been here in Fla. since January. We are thinking of you and remembering what a sweet little girl Kenzie was. Take care and keep us posted on everything! Mimi(Rand) Anderson

Sue, I have been thinking about Kenzie as the new family who moved into your yellow home had a young girl in the front yard practicing gymnastics last week:). It made me smile knowing your special home was being enjoyed by another family. I felt like Mac Kenzie's spunky spirit was alive and well:). Love & miss you!! Xoxo. Wanda

Katie, Wishing you and Ryan much success in your fundraising efforts for this worthy cause in memory of your precious sister, Mackenzie. I just made a donation to both of you to help you on your way and hope that you are both able to reach and surpass your fundraising goals! I have followed Mackenzie's journey since her story first appeared on my cousin, Ian Rogers' Caring Bridge site years ago when their family met your family while Ian was fighting his brain tumor. Your family's strength was an inspiration to me during Ian's journey and during Mackenzie's journey as well. I have thought of all of you often in the past two years and wondered how you all were doing. May you all be blessed as you honor Mackenzie's memory by giving back to others in need. I know she must be very proud of all of you! I and many others who visit this site continue to BELIEVE ......in memory of Mackenzie!

Katie, thank you for posting the site to support you and your boyfriend. Such a wonderful way to honor Kenzie, her favorite charity. I never met Kenzie, but was told about her at my church and prayed for her and your family. I feel in love with her beautiful soul and with your very strong mom and you girls. I read that you all were moving from Mt. Airey, I hope that you are happy in your new home.   God Bless you all.

... Best to all of you during this time of change. Keep all the bright and happy moments packed lightly for easy access ...leave the more . . .'challenging' moments tucked safely away for another day when they might hopefully be 'easier' to remember. ...tom...
