Saturday Update:  Mackensie is still having problems with her lungs.  We are out of town visiting family for the 4th of July and still dealing with lung issues.  She has finished the steroid and all the other meds., yet she is still having asthma attacks...mainly at night.  She sits up in the bed gasping for air at least twice each night.  It isn't a true asthma attack because it does not require a breathing treatment for her to be able to breathe properly.  She just has to clear the mucus from her throat that has come up from her lungs.  I called her doctor again yesterday and he was troubled with the fact that she is still having problems.  He put her on singular and wants to see her again next week when we get home.  She has never had issues like this with her lungs so I hope that we can get this under control real soon.
