Happy Birthday Luke!!!

One year ago today you came into our lives and we are forever richer because of it. The last 12 months have been an indescribable journey. We so wish you were here with us today as we celebrate a major milestone, your first birthday. I can’t imagine what a 1 year old birthday party is like in Heaven, but I know it will be VERY special. You have some of the very best people in our family there to sing you Happy Birthday.

We hope to make our celebration here worthy of your Angel spirit. Your mommy, the sweetest mommy around, has a special day planned. Emily and Matthew will help us decorate the cupcakes and launch some balloons toward the Heavens. James can’t decorate cakes all that well yet, but he will help me send a balloon your way.

Emily and Matthew miss you very much….so very much. Of course, they are not alone. Your grandparents miss you more than you know….your aunts and uncles will forever have a special place for you in their hearts….and our friends from Texas and all over the world for that matter continue to pray for you and our family. We are so honored and touched that all of them will be helping us celebrate your special day.

We love you....we miss you. Please know that you are constantly on our minds and in our hearts.

Today, I ask a special prayer that Jesus gives Luke an extra special hug from his mommy and daddy.
