Greetings from Alpharetta, GA. We are now staying at Brigid's (Bernie's sister) house. It's been great for Emily and Matthew to see their cousins. Emily is hanging on every word that Isabelle and Cecilia say, yet also managing to boss them around, eventhough she is half their age. The girls are so good to Emily. The two "little" ones, Matthew and Sabrina love each other and have been getting along really well. Since we arrived earlier this week we have been swimming and just hanging out. We did take the kids to the movie's yesterday. There was not much to choose from for the kid's. We planned on taking the kids to see Wall-E later on in the week, so we decided to see Kitt Kittridge- An American Girl. With 4 of the 5 kids being girls it was the odds on choice, although Matthew was strangely excited about seeing it as well. As a father, I felt a great deal of guilt for subjecting my son to such an ordeal !! However, when I went to buy our 4 tickets the total came to ..... $80 !! It was a special screening and all tickets were $20, even the kids....uhhh nevermind, so we went ahead and watched WALL-E. We'll be here for a few more days before we go to Ellijay, GA for the 4th of July. This has been a tradition and we look forward to the parade and fireworks !! We hope all is well with everyone and wish you a happy 4th!! Please continue to remember those with HLHS and other heart defects. We know of 2 more babies that lost their battle this week. We also have a dream to start a foundation to help these kids, we ask for your prayers as we find ways to accomplish this tremendous effort.
